Strange New Scents: Mayonnaise Perfume

Tennessee Titans quarterback Will Levis has teamed up with Hellmann's Mayonnaise to create a one-of-a-kind and quirky fragrance: Will Levis No. 8: Parfum de Mayonnaise. The new cologne, which retails for $8 per 30 mL bottle, was announced in a playful video on social media just a few months ago. In 90 minutes, the scent sold out. Although the website used to note that the highly anticipated fragrance would eventually be restocked, it now reports to be officially sold out (and thanks “everyone who purchased the scent of greatness”).

The fragrance includes a mix of notes like tart lemon, parsley, coffee undertones, musk, creamy vanilla, and, notably, a mayonnaise accord. This collaboration stems from Levis' viral association with mayonnaise, which began when he was filmed adding mayo to his coffee before a game in 2023. Despite the odd pairing, Levis embraced the joke, and it evolved into a partnership with Hellmann’s. The result has turned into a new and unconventional fragrance release.

Levis has been known for his love of mayonnaise, and this perfume is the latest result of his lifetime deal with the brand. The fragrance also features a commercial that pokes fun at typical cologne advertisements, for a sprinkle of humor to the unique collaboration.
