Texen Designs New Cap for Avon’s Far Away Fragrance

Avon’s latest iteration of Far Away, its best-selling fragrance, features a redesigned cap developed in collaboration with Texen. With a legacy spanning 30 years, Far Away continues to be a staple in Avon's fragrance collection. Its newest edition showcases a more contemporary design.
The round, golden cap, made from several elements created through multi-cavity moulds, stands out with its minimalist and sophisticated style. The inner part of the cap is crafted from 100% post-consumer recycled polypropylene (PCR PP). The cap’s satin gold metallization adds an air of elegance, while the clean lines and simple design complement the bottle's updated look.
The updated Far Away fragrance is offered in eight different versions, each with its own colored bottle, though all share the same cap design. The effort to refresh the fragrance is paired with a focus on eco-friendly packaging solutions, as the use of PCR PP helps reduce the overall environmental footprint of the product. Texen’s involvement in the project highlights the role of packaging innovation in modern fragrance offerings, particularly in the context of sustainable and responsible design.
