Courteney Cox Plans to Capture Love in a Bottle with Fragrance Inspired by Partner

Courteney Cox, beloved Friends alum and the creative force behind Homecourt, is ready to bring a deeply personal touch to her brand once again. After launching the Cocomoi collection inspired by her daughter Coco, the actress revealed her next scent project will honor her partner of over a decade, musician Johnny McDaid.

During the Inc. 5000 45th Annual Conference & Gala in October, Cox shared her desire to create a fragrance blending her Southern roots with McDaid’s Irish heritage.

"I think it would be nice to do a scent with my partner, who I love," she said, envisioning a tribute that reflects both of their stories. McDaid, of Snow Patrol fame, hails from Derry, Northern Ireland, while Cox grew up in Alabama, making for a potential blend of rolling green landscapes and warm Southern charm.   

The couple, introduced by Ed Sheeran in 2013, has shared a journey marked by love and creativity, which makes this collaboration a natural next step. Cox’s prior venture, the Cocomoi collection, showcased her knack for crafting fragrances that are personal and universally appealing. The collection features notes like coconut, pepper, and cedarwood, a recipe perfected with input from her daughter.     

With McDaid’s fragrance, Cox aims to explore the artistry of scent in new ways, hinting at elements inspired by Ireland’s lush landscapes. Whether it’s earthy moss, fresh sea air, or the warmth of a hearth, fans can expect another thoughtfully curated addition to Homecourt’s growing lineup.

A Fragrance Empire Rooted in Storytelling

Cox’s Homecourt brand has already earned a loyal following, including glowing endorsements from her Friends co-star Jennifer Aniston. The Cece candle, a blend of cardamom, cedarwood, and cinnamon, is reportedly a staple in Aniston’s home. With such a strong reputation for sophisticated scents, the upcoming tribute to McDaid is poised to steal the hearts (and noses) of thousands!
