Fresh Face of Lancôme Reveals Her Daily Scent Ritual
Mar. 27, 2025 | Rebecca Robin

Olivia Rodrigo has finally let fans in on what fuels her signature scent – and no, it's not teen spirit. The "vampire" singer, who joined the Lancôme family in November, has crowned the new Idôle Power as her daily fragrance companion.
This isn't your grandmother's floral perfume. Three Givaudan perfumers crafted a scent that plays both sides: feminine rose Damascena and jasmine mingle with edgy sandalwood and musk. At its heart, a molecule called Pomarose adds an unexpected twist of sugared apple to the mix.
Housed in a terracotta bottle, Idôle Power arrives with a campaign that feels more music video than perfume ad. Directors Radha Ganti and Robert Lopuski, known for their work with Rihanna, set Rodrigo's raw energy to her own track "Brutal" – a fitting choice for a scent that's meant to bottle confidence.
For Rodrigo, it's less about smelling pretty and more about capturing a feeling. "It's like running into a field," she says, describing how the fragrance brings out her playful side while making her feel ready to "conquer the world."
The scent promises to stick around as long as a breakup song, with staying power that'll last through marathon listening sessions of "GUTS." Available at Ulta Beauty for $155, it's clear Lancôme isn't just selling another celebrity perfume – they're bottling the essence of Gen Z's most unapologetic voice.
