Those who regularly inhaled these scents lost an average of 5 pounds per month, which points to the powerful link between smell and appetite control.
When applied to water, these principles can create an even more accessible solution. The aroma of fresh mint, for example, has been shown to curb cravings, while citrus scents like lemon and grapefruit boost energy and promote fat metabolism.
