Touchland Goes Beyond Sanitizer: The Power Essence Fragrance Mist is Here
Mar. 27, 2025 | Rebecca Robin

Touchland, the hand sanitizer brand known for its sleek, pocket-sized bottles, is making a splash in the beauty world with its first-ever fragrance line. After dominating the sanitizer space for over a decade, the brand is stepping into uncharted territory with a collection of hair and body mists—marking a significant shift in its product range.
Launching on February 3, the Power Essence fragrance mists will come in eight scents, each crafted with the same signature touch that has made Touchland a cult favorite. Available for $20, the mists will be sold at Sephora, Ulta Beauty, and directly on Touchland’s website. The collection includes vibrant, mood-lifting options like Lush Tropicale, Vanilla Velvet, and Rich Pistachio, each designed to elevate your everyday scent experience with a touch of luxury.
For founder Andrea Lisbona, this launch marks more than just a product expansion. It's part of a bigger vision to redefine the idea of "on-the-go essentials." "We started with hand sanitizer, but our goal has always been to expand into categories that appeal to everyone," Lisbona said. And Touchland isn’t stopping here—there are more product launches planned for later this year.
The mists, which are packaged in the same sleek, flat 60ml bottles as the brand’s sanitizers, are ideal for carrying in your pocket or bag. But it’s not just the convenience factor that’s winning over fans. These mists are backed by technology from fragrance giant Givaudan, incorporating their Moodscentz tech to boost your mood and Inno Eliminaze to fight unpleasant odors. A sweet bonus? Touchland’s younger, die-hard fanbase, especially Gen Z and Gen Alpha, are already hooked, thanks to the brand’s cult-like following and playful, collectible vibes.
Despite its growth, Lisbona is focused on taking Touchland beyond its current fanbase. “2025 is the time for the brand to really present ourselves to the world,” she said, noting that Touchland has yet to reach its full potential in terms of brand recognition. The company’s success has skyrocketed in recent years, with sales jumping from $12 million in 2020 to over $100 million in 2024. Touchland’s rapid rise was fueled by its viral hand sanitizer launches during the pandemic, as well as its savvy use of creative marketing.
The expansion into fragrance is just the next step in the brand's evolution. Power Essence mists will be featured prominently in 2400 end-cap displays at Ulta Beauty and Sephora stores, and the brand plans to expand internationally to Canada and the Middle East this year. Meanwhile, their signature atomizer, patented since 2020, remains a key element of the brand’s identity, which they protect with the help of AI to prevent copycats.
“We’re not just selling a fragrance, we’re selling an experience,” Lisbona said. For Touchland, the vessel is just as important as the scent inside, ensuring that their products are as visually appealing as they are functional.
So, whether you're a loyal fan or a newcomer, Touchland’s fragrance mists offer a fun, fresh way to refresh your scent game, while still delivering on the brand’s signature style and innovation. With plans to continue expanding, the future looks fragrant indeed.
